Detroit, Mich. — August 24, 2026 — INFORM Studio has been named one of Crain’s Detroit Business’ 2026 Best Places to Work in Southeast Michigan, recognizing the architecture and design firm as one of the region’s top workplaces.
The annual Best Places to Work program recognizes Southeast Michigan companies that create strong workplace cultures and positive employee experiences. The selection process includes an evaluation of company policies, practices, benefits and demographics, along with confidential feedback from employees about their experience within the organization.
For INFORM Studio, the recognition comes during a period of continued growth, including the expansion of its team, the opening of its Detroit studio in Capitol Park and a growing portfolio of work throughout Michigan and across the country. It also follows INFORM’s recognition as the 2025 AIA Michigan Firm of the Year, celebrating both the work the firm creates and the people and culture behind it.
“Our people are what make INFORM what it is,” said Gina Van Tine, President and Founding Principal of INFORM Studio. “We’ve worked hard to create a place where talented people can do meaningful work, have a voice and continue to grow. Being recognized based in part on feedback from our own team makes this especially meaningful.”
INFORM brings together architects, engineers, interior designers, planners and other creative professionals in a collaborative, multidisciplinary practice. That approach extends beyond project work and into the firm’s culture, where employees are encouraged to share ideas, challenge conventional thinking and contribute to the future of the firm.
“Our mission is To Inspire and Impact, and that starts with our own team,” said Michael Guthrie, FAIA, Founding Principal of INFORM Studio. “We want people to be excited about the work they’re doing, the people they’re doing it with and the impact they can have. Creating that kind of workplace is something we have to continue working at every day.”
