The Village Apothecary is a neighborhood landmark in the West Village neighborhood of Manhattan, located on Bleecker Street which is fast becoming one of the World’s Best Shopping Streets according to The Fashion Spot.  The boutique apothecary intends to capitalize on the retail quality of the district by reorganizing the existing ground floor space of 822s.f. into display and service, and adding an internal stair to 370s.f. of storage below.

The complex renovation is a study of efficiency and maximizing floor area for the pharmacist expansion and customer experience.  Digitally fabricated millwork creates spatial definition, product display and work surface within a re-conditioned ‘white box’.  Façade renovations respect the nature of the historic landmark building and introduce a more transparent connection from the street to the vibrancy of the interior
